B. Pharmacy

B Pharm Program is a 4 year program with 8 semesters in total. This program prepares students for rewarding careers in the pharmaceutical industry – production department, quality control department, quality assurance department, regulatory affairs department, research and development department; Hospital and clinical settings, Clinical research, , Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacy Entrepreneurship, Central and State Drugs Control Administration offices, Central and State Research Centres. Careers also extend to Bulk Drug, Cosmetic, Nutraceutical and Herbal drug Industries. The Program focuses on imparting domain knowledge on drug discovery, formulation development, analysis, and safe use of medicines, combining strong theoretical knowledge with practical skills through classroom learning, laboratory sessions, and hospital training.

Syllabus

B Pharm I semester
Indian students

Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by state/central government authorities with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional/specialization subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.”

Overseas students

Candidate should have passed an exam recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.”

B Pharm III semester:
Lateral Entry :

For admission into the B Pharm Program III semester via lateral entry “A pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.”
